THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS

  • Legends in the making, Christian and Steve Martinez, known as The Martinez Brothers, are a testament to the vibrant pulse of house music. Born and raised in the rhythmic heart of The Bronx, New York, they were spinning tracks before they could even legally enter the clubs they electrified. From their father's soulful selections of salsa, Latin jazz, and disco to holding court as residents at the world-renowned DC10 in Ibiza since 2011, they've ascended to the pinnacle of house music with lasting staying power. Their signature Latin-infused New York house and dynamic tech house have become a clear, irresistible call to the dance floor, evidenced by their sold-out show at London's Drumsheds in 2024. Their global impact was further cemented with a headline appearance on Coachella's coveted Quasar stage in the spring of the co-owners of the illustrious Cuttin' Headz label, they've not only left their mark on the decks but also the very fabric of the genre, collaborating with titans such as Louie Vega, Nile Rodgers, and the fresh dynamism of Tokischa. Their consistent influence is also reflected in their continued presence on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list. Christian and Steve's story is one of musical destiny. Their childhood was rich in diverse sounds, enabling them to hone their talents within the church band, master instruments, and absorb the rhythms that would fuel their careers. They've seamlessly transitioned from local talents to global phenomena, partnering with artists from Rauw Alejandro to Fuego and captivating dance floors alongside Skepta and at afterparties for icons like Dua Lipa.Ibiza has become a second home, with a decade-long residency at Circoloco and a recent spellbinding stint at Hï Ibiza, the top-voted club worldwide. The Martinez Brothers are synonymous with the island's hedonistic allure, bringing the Bronx's heartbeat to the Balearic beaches. From Turin's Kappa FuturFestival to London's Eastern Electrics, Madrid's Fabrik to Miami's III Points, they've commanded stages with an effortless cool that only true masters possess.Their influence extends beyond the music realm into the world of high fashion, marking them as true cultural tastemakers. The brothers have cultivated notable relationships and collaborations with prestigious brands, including DKNY, Carolina Herrera, Fendi, New Era, Givenchy, Boss, and Louis Vuitton, further solidifying their status as multifaceted artists with a keen eye for style. Offstage, they're incredibly charismatic and well-cultured collectors of sneakers, vinyl, vintage threads, and audio gear. Yet, they're family men at their core, never straying far from their roots or the beat that unites us all.

Passeio Marítimo de Algés

Lisbon, Portugal

10th of October 2025

HOW TO GET THERE

-> Passeio Marítimo de Algés, Lisbon, Portugal

  • Set your GPS to “Passeio Marítimo de Algés”. Closest parking is Parque do Passeio Marítimo de Algés with about 350 spaces, barrier entry and CCTV. Current guide price is around €0.40 per hour. A second option is the Parque da Ribeira de Algés, a newer car park with roughly 135 spaces nearby. Arrive early as bays fill fast on event days.

  • Fastest is the CP Cascais Line train from Cais do Sodré to Algés. Journey time is about 10 to 15 minutes and services run all day. From Algés station, walk a few minutes towards the river. You can also use Carris routes that serve Algés, including the 15E tram and buses 750 and 729 depending on your starting point. Check live times before you set off.

  • All ride-hail and taxis serve Algés. Set the destination to “Passeio Marítimo de Algés”. At peak times there may be traffic controls close to the riverside, so drop-offs can be a short walk from the gates. After the event, expect queues and surge pricing, so public transport is usually quicker.

  • The riverside is flat and ideal for walking or cycling. There is a continuous riverside cycle and pedestrian path between Belém and Algés, with great views and easy access to the venue. Lisbon’s Gira bike-share and Oeiras’ municipal bikes operate in the area. Bring lights at night and lock your bike securely.
